'I tried everything once': Madonna speaks candidly about drug experimentation... as she poses topless at 56 for edgy photo shoot

She's never been one to shy away from a candid interview or photo shoot.
And Madonna has stayed true to form with her latest chat and revealing set of editorial images in Interview magazine.
The 56-year-old pop icon has yet again crossed boundaries in the issue, with one of the more risqué shots fully showing her bare breasts.

The striking images, taken for the publication by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, show the singer contorting her body into various positions in boudoir-style underwear, basques and other sexually suggestive garments by Alexander McQueen.
Speaking to interviewer David Blaine for the magazine's 'Art issue', the outspoken star discussed her views on drug use, admitting that it's often a spiritual thing for people.

'It's about how people take drugs to connect to God or to a higher level of consciousness,' she said.
'I keep saying 'Plugging into the matrix.' If you get high, you can do that, which is why a lot of people drop acid or do drugs, because they want to get closer to God.

'But there's going to be a short circuit, and that's the illusion of drugs, because they give you the illusion of getting closer to God, but ultimately they kill you.'
She added that she herself had dabbled over the years: 'I mean, I tried everything once, but as soon as I was high, I spent my time drinking tons of water to get it out of my system.
'As soon as I was high, I was obsessed with flushing it out of me. I was like, Okay, I'm done now.'
Madonna also told her famous interviewer about her deep connections to the concept of mortality.
'I became very obsessed with death, and the idea that you never know when death will arrive, so one has to do as much as possible all the time to get the most out of life,' she admitted.
No fear: The star even posed with a snake above her head, as she revealed her slender legs in lilac stockings
High fashion: As well as the more provocative shots, the pop icon wears ready-to-wear items from Alexander McQueen

Her honest admissions coincide with the high-end photo shoot, which portray Madonna as a provocative woman, at one with her body and sexuality.
And it's not the first time she's proudly displayed her figure: the Like A Virgin hitmaker has allowed herself to be photographed topless - and even in the nude - before.
Madonna famously posed for several nude photos for Herman Kulkens back in 1977 at the age of 18, and the images later were at the centre of a legal battle in 1985 when both Penthouse and Playboy attempted to print them
She also posed naked for three photographers between 1978 and 1980.

Ecstasy: She's known for her ability to pull any pose - and shock with it - as well as her chart-topping ways and philanthropic efforts
And of course there was her famous coffee table book entitled Sex, which saw her reveal herself fully in the tome which was released alongside her raunchily-titled album Erotica in 1992.
She's no stranger to revealing herself, and certainly looks youthful in the images, with her blonde locks coiffed into a retro 1940s housewife style, juxtaposing with the provocative nature of the styling.
Madonna recently hit the news for her visit to Malawi along with her adopted children Mercy James and David Banda during which she was appointed Malawi’s Goodwill Ambassador for Child Welfare.
But as well as her philanthropic ways, she's still at her core an artist, and discussed her feelings on being creative and also learning to fail.
She told Blaine: 'I'm not saying I'm great at failing, but if you're an artist and you're in the learning process, you accept that you're going to suck at things.
'We're all good intrinsically, just covered sometimes in filth and darkness, and our job is to get rid of it, to peel back the layers and reveal our goodness.'
As a woman who has been heavily focused on her career for the past three decades plus, she was asked what the most important profession is, in the world.
'Prostitution, of course,' she revealed.

Steve Jobs to Testify in Apple Trial From Beyond the Grave

Steve Jobs Introduces iCloud Storage System At Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference

The former Apple CEO recorded video deposition before his death in 2011

Former Apple CEO Steve Jobs is expected to make a posthumous appearance in court this week, defending Apple in a video deposition that was recorded in 2011, just months before his death from pancreatic cancer.
The class action lawsuit, which begins in Oakland, Calif. on Tuesday, will include a never-before-seen video in which Jobs addresses complaints that its music service violated antitrust laws, CNN reports. Plaintiffs allege that early iPod models were deliberately designed to play music purchased from the iTunes store, while blocking music purchased from rival services.
Jobs testifies that the incompatibility was built into Apple’s contracts with music labels. “We had pretty much black and white contracts with the labels,” he says in the video, according to CNN. Lawyers representing the plaintiffs are suing for $350 million in damages.

Gold Prices Down After Swiss Voters Nix Gold Measure

Stacks of gold bars

In a poor showing for the commodities market, oil prices also reached their lowest levels since June 2009

Gold prices slid downward on Monday after Swiss votersnixed a measure to bump up the nation’s gold reserves, while oil prices also fell to a five-year low as the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) decided to maintain crude oil production levels.
The rejected Swiss proposal, defeated by 78% of voters, would have required the Swiss National Bank to more than double its gold reserves, holding at least 20% of its assets in the precious metal, Reuters reports. The measure would have challenged the bank’s policy of capping the Swiss franc at 1.20 per euro.
After the vote, gold at one point fell more than two percent to $1,142.90 per ounce XAU=, while silver prices, which usually mirror gold prices, hit a five-year-low at $14.50 per ounce XAG=.
Meanwhile, oil prices also slumped to $64.10 per barrel after OPEC rejected calls from some member states, including Iran and Venezuela, to tighten crude oil output and vie to keep oil prices from tumbling amidst a flurry of growth in the U.S. shale oil market.

HOW TO GET RID OF CELLULITE FOREVER (NATURALLY)

Contributed by – Joey Atlas, Women’s Body Enhancement Specialist — M.S., Exercise Physiology
no cellulite orangeCellulite has often been termed “the curse of women” because so many suffer from the annoying orange peel skin dimples and fat deposits on their hips, bums and thighs. Unfortunately, too many women also throw thousands and thousands of dollars down the drain on totally ineffective “treatments” and useless products. That is because most people don’t really know what “cellulite” is, or what causes these odd dimples on the lower body trouble zones…
So if you don’t know what cellulite is, how can you treat it?
Fact is, there is no real difference between cellulite fat, and regular fat. All of the cellulite sponges and creams designed to “dissolve” cellulite and other gimmicky devices are all ripping you off. Unfortunately, cellulite is actually caused by muscular atrophy, a condition that occurs when the layer of muscle becomes weak and undefined, and separates from the skin, making the unattractive fatty deposits visible. So the first thing you need to know is that cellulite treatment has nothing to do with your skin and everything to do with the muscles underneath the skin. And remember, cellulite removal has NOTHING to do with weight loss. Even the skinniest of girls can suffer from cellulite.
The good news is that there is a way to reverse muscular atrophy, and banish annoying cellulite forever. And no matter how much you weigh or how old you are, you can do this naturally without popping pills or using phony lotions.
How To Get Rid Of CelluliteWATCH THE VIDEO

HERE ARE 5 TOP TIPS TO GET RID OF YOUR CELLULITE FOREVER:

1. You CANNOT get rid of cellulite with creams or lotions: Stop using them! It’s that simple. There are dozens of cellulite reduction creams on the market, but they don’t do anything to treat your cellulite. The dimples caused by cellulite are a superficial result of a problem below the surface of your skin, therefore creams will do nothing.
2. Medi-Spa Treatments do not work: Numerous FDA reports show that medi-spa treatments designed to remove cellulite have actually scarred and injured a number of women permanently. From body-wrapping to endermologie, these treatments are completely ineffective (but can be very expensive).
3. Cellulite is NOT genetic, you CAN get rid of it: Ignore what you’ve been told, cellulite is not a genetic problem and you do not have to be stuck with it forever. Believing these falsehoods will just prevent you from taking the steps you need to get rid of your cellulite.
4. You can get rid of cellulite no matter how old you are: Because cellulite is a muscle issue, you can always fix it by strengthening your muscles. All you have to do are some simple movements that target specific muscles in the cellulite affected area to get rid of your cellulite. You can do these movements at home – they are not vigorous or overly strenuous and can be performed by women of all fitness levels.
5. The ONLY way to get rid of cellulite forever is with specifically targeted lower-body movements: The movements are unique, and directly target the muscles in the cellulite areas. They focus on lifting, toning and shaping the muscle layers, pushing them towards the skin and getting rid of the dimpled appearance. Unfortunately, these are not movements that you’ll be able to learn at your nearest gym. This natural way to remove cellulite does not make use of weights or machines. These exercises specifically target cellulite. (click to watch the video).
With this program you will learn how to target every single one of your lower body muscles, with simple, light movements. Follow this program and you will attain the tight and sexy look that you’ve always dreamed of. If you have some fat in your cellulite zones, it will be burned off as fuel so you will also lose any unhealthy excess body fat.
You can do these movements from the privacy of your own home and if you start with this targeted muscle stimulation method today you will start seeing results after approximately 2 to 4 weeks. It’s your body so just go ahead and do the right thing for it!

Women who have more male friends have better sex than girly girls ... because their boyfriends 'are scared of the competition'

Women who have more male friends and colleagues are having more sex than women who surround themselves with females.
These 'guys' girls' enjoy more romantic attention because their boyfriends and partners feel in competition with their male friends which pushes them to try harder in the bedroom, according to research.
The study, which was published in the Journal of Comparative Psychology, revealed men were also more attracted to their partners when they subconsciously suspected they might be unfaithful.
A study claims 'guys girls' are likely to have more sex than those who don't have many male friends
A study claims 'guys girls' are likely to have more sex than those who don't have many male friends
Michael Pham, the lead author on the study told Fusion: 'A lot of work shows that men are sexually aroused by their partner when they estimate a greater likelihood of partner infidelity.
'This does not mean that men want their partner to cheat on them. Rather, this means that if they estimate a greater likelihood of their partner’s infidelity, then they may (subconsciously) want to have sex with her to enter into sperm competition.'
Pham and his co-workers studied 400 men in relationships, asking them to report on subjects such as how attractive they found their partner, how many male friends they believed their partner to have and how attractive they believed these friends to find them.
Having male friends can make you seem more attractive to your partner

The study found that the more male friends a man perceived his partner to have, the most sex they would have as a couple.
Pham believes that this competitive streak is natural to most people: 'We need to be reminded that our partner is valuable to us and desirable to others. This makes us keep working at maintaining relationship satisfaction.
'Finding that right balance of inducing your partner’s jealousy will optimize a couple’s sex life.'
Although the study did not examine who had initiated the sex Todd K. Shackelford who co-authored the study says the results do show that men are competitive when it comes to other men.
'They [the women] don't even have to see them having sex with other males. It's just the presence,' he said.

Is this the most ridiculous stunt ever? Tourists test their strength against jet engine blasts by clinging to fence between Caribbean airport and popular beach

Princess Juliana International Airport in Saint Martin is often referred to as having one of the world's most frightening airport runways.
And these holidaymakers who were enjoying a day at the beach in the Caribbean certainly found out why.
The airport, while being the second-busiest airport in the Eastern Caribbean, has a runway of just 7,152 feet in length - and it is located right next to the beach.

Though sufficient for small or medium-sized jets, large carriers fly extremely low over the nearby beach, often only just clearing the perimeter's fence.
The video begins as the plane prepares to take off and sunbathers emerge from the water at Maho Beach for a closer look at the JetBlue Airbus A321.

Several daredevils are then seen holding onto the wire fence that separates the airport runway from the local sandy beach.
As the plane begins to accelerate, the sand and dirt kicks up, causing a literal whirlwind among the several brave tourists who are attempting to hang on.
Just a second later, one of the remaining two still holding onto the wall is blasted into the air, away from the fence and into a concrete footpath just feet from the fence itself.

Daredevil naturalist who allowed himself to be swallowed alive by an anaconda so he could film INSIDE the creature reveals he was more scared for the animal's safety than his own

The American naturalist who filmed himself getting eaten by an anaconda for a highly-anticipated television event has spoken out about what inspired him to take part in the risky stunt.
This past summer, Rosolie donned a special suit to let a 25-foot 400-pound snake eat him in a dangerous performance set to air on Discovery Channel this Sunday. Overall, Rosolie was so confident in the suit's design that he was more worried about the snake's safety than his own.
'I didn’t want to stress [the snake] out too much. I wanted to make sure that the suit was smooth and wasn’t going to hurt the snake,' Rosolie said. ' I really wasn’t scared. We tested this suit and worked on this with experts so we knew I was going to be safe.'
Amid a backlash from animal rights activists who believe the anaconda was tortured by being forced to eat Rosolie, a man much bigger than its usual prey, Rosolie has responded to say the snake was unharmed and that the experiment was designed to raise money to save the animal's habitat.

'I wanted to do something that would absolutely shock people,' Rosolie told the New York Post. 'Environmentalists, we love to preach to the choir. What I’m trying to do with this is bring in a bunch of people that wouldn’t necessarily know what’s going on in the Amazon.'
Fundrasier: The special to air Sunday will reportedly advertise a fundraiser to save the snake's habitat

'For the type of attention that this is getting and for the type of emergency that’s going on down there — desperate times, desperate measures.'
'Once they see the show, these are people who are going to be supporters' he said. 'It’s a cool little dissonance there — they’re all coming out against me, but I’m the guy that’s been down there in the jungle trying to protect these things.'
Rosolie, a New Jersey native who first visited the Amazon at age 18, spent 60 days hiking through the rain forest in Peru with a team of about a dozen people searching for the right anaconda to take part in the stunt.
In the process, the team also started the first scientific study of anacondas in the wild, taking down the weight, length and sex of each snake they came across. They also took samples of their skin to test for mercury, a by-product of the gold-mining industry which is encroaching on the creature's habitat. The special on Sunday will be promoting a fundraiser to raise money to save the snake's habitat.
The naturalist and his crew had nearly run out of the time allotted by the Discovery Channel when they finally tracked down a female green anaconda that Rosolie first spotted in 2008.
He says it took 12 people fighting in water above their heads to catch the 25-foot 400-500 pound anaconda, adding that herpetologists were on site to make sure the snake was in good health throughout its short captivity.
Armor: In order to survive being eaten by the snake, Rosolie wore a custom-designed suit that protected him from the snake's strong grasp and digestive acids. It also packed cameras, communication devices and enough air to last him three hours

From there, Rosolie put on a special suit made of carbon fiber designed to protect against both the snake's deadly grip and digestive acids.
The suit also packed a three-hour supply of oxygen, communication devices and several cameras. Before going through with the effort, Rosolie also swallowed a pill that transmitted his vitals to his team.
