Lost property: Signed pic of Bieber among items left behind on coaches
How do you get on a coach wearing a false leg and then manage to get off the vehicle at your stop without it?
That's the question National Express bosses were asking themselves when one passenger left his prosthetic limb behind on one of their services, having worn it to board the coach.
That is just one example of some of the more unusual items left behind on coaches operated by National Express.

A Chinese couple, who could not speak English, took a 10-legged crab on board a service from Coventry to Inverness, and even purchased a child's ticket for it.
Despite taking such care over the crab, they managed to get off the coach without it at some point.
As there were no seaside stops on the route a special coach was chartered to drop the crab off at the end of Blackpool Pier, on the advice of marine biologists.
Mankini: Staff were surprised to find two garments made famous by Borat left on a coach
A set of mountain bikes still in their original boxes were left behind on one coach, while one Belieber would have been heartbroken when they realised they had left their signed photo of Justin on a coach returning from a gig at Wembley Stadium.
One traveller left behind a pair of full-sized feathered American Indian head dresses and a bag containing two lime green 'mankinis' and an oversized 40th birthday badge was another interesting discovery for National Express staff after all customers had disembarked the coach.

The manager of Liverpool coach station ended up adopting a new pet, when a small furry creature native to Chile called a Degu was left behind on a coach.
National Express lost property manager Claire Horvath said: "It's absolutely unbelievable the things people leave on the coaches and on more than one occasion I've been left rubbing my eyes in the lost property room.
"The Indian head dresses were one of the more unusual items left behind. I mean, we've all mislaid glasses or a mobile phone but how do you forget something that size?"
